SQSAC welcomes new members. BSAC divers and experienced divers qualified with other agencies are able to join SQSAC at any time. Come along to one of our monthly pub nights to meet the members, learn about the club and make plans for diving over the coming months.
If you’re interested in taking up scuba diving for the first time, we run try dives in a pool in Edinburgh around early October each year. Ocean Diver theory and pool training sessions run on weekends from October to December, which then progress to open water diving through until about March.
Skills development courses and diver training past Ocean Diver level are scheduled whenever there’s interest from students and instructors. Recent courses run by the club include boat handling, buoyancy and trim workshop, defibrillator training, Dive Leader training, practical rescue management, and emergency oxygen administration.
